Studio 540 is located in beautiful downtown Nevada City. It is my good fortune to have this wonderful space that was once a carriage repair shop. High ceilings and big windows let in lots of light and add to the creative atmosphere. It's the perfect place to hand build clay boxes or throw a myriad of clay functional ware. I especially enjoy trowing large bowls and am creating a series of natural edge pieces like the green bowl below. Several times throughout the year I offer classes for up to 6 students at a time.
